Hey 410 Blog,
This past weekend some of our high school students and adults hit the road with Marietta FUMC and headed to the hills of West Virginia for the weekend. After the long drive on Friday we pulled into a Microtel late at night in East Beckley and before we knew it we were scrounging down an "amazing" continental breakfast and heading out the door for the slopes. The Next two days were full of fellowship, skiing, boarding, laughing, crashing, and sharing in life with one another and celebrating the bond that we have in Christ.
Here some Pictures from the weekend!
Here is a post from two of the students on the group:
Dear blog viewers,
Today, is the day, we leave the great Winterplace Mountain. I think some of the advisors and the kid's favorite part was when we decided to do the "Flying V". Right before the mountain closed we created a formation in the shape of a V and skied down one of the runs. We also did different runs together and bonded as a group! Overall we had a great weekend and can't wait to go back next year!
