Mexico Mission 18
May 29 - June 8
We want everyone, including parents and youth, to be aware of what will be expected of them. There are important dates and requirements that you need to remember!
The following requirements are extremely important for each student who wants to attend the Mexico Mission Trip. If anyone has a problem with meeting any of these requirements, please contact Andrew ahead of time. The cost of the trip is $500.
You must attend 10 total Sunday Night programs, events, or retreats each semester. (COLLIDE weekend Feb 2-4 counts as an attendance credit as well). To obtain proper attendance credits, all youth are responsible for their check-in on Sundays.
- Must participate in 1 Block shift
- Must Participate in 2 Volunteer Opportunities: Signups for these opportunities will be posted to 410youth.org on September 7th. Examples:
- Taste of Marietta Parking Lot Fundraiser
- 4th of July Parking Lot Fundraiser

There will be two required training sessions during the Spring Semester. These sessions allow us to explore missions on a deeper level which equips us minister effectively. These are also great opportunities for us to grow together as a team.

Each year we sell "blocks" to help build the houses in Mexico. Each block is $10 and once someone buys them they write their name up on the corresponding block. Thank you so much for making sure that our fundraising table has volunteers Sunday mornings. Selling blocks is a lot of fun and is a great way to engage with our church and enable people to join with us in this mission. Meet Andrew in the Gathering Space once you get to the church.
After an incredible summer of Missions, retreats, and awesome adventures all I can say is “God is Good!”. As we get closer to August we mark the beginning of school but also celebrate the start of another year of 410Youth at FPC.
Parents and guardians of youth are invited to come join the celebration. The night will begin with dinner at 6:00 and will be followed by an informational meeting for parents. In this meeting we will outline the events for the fall, introduce you to leadership, and share ways that we can partner together in ministry as we walk alongside these amazing youth (you will not want to miss it!).
Grab a friend and head over to the church after football on Friday for a night of awesomeness. Don't think we forgot about WaHo, we'll have that too.
Saturday morning we have the opportunity to participate in the Field of Flags Processional. Each person will carry a flag onto the field at Kennesaw Mountain and place it in memory of the lives lost on Sept. 11th.
See you at 9:00pm at the Church!
if you are going to be late no worries! text or call Andrew @(678)977-2720
If you are in Marietta from July 21 to 23 and love to have fun, then come be a part of the 2nd annual Summer Adventure Camp. We will spend some great time together exploring Gods creation and may also struggle with how to build a tent at some point… We will be leaving at 3:00 pm on July 21 and will return by 12:00 pm on July 23th. The cost is $75 to cover food and gas. Email email@example.com to reserve a seat on the trip!
Grab a friend and head to the church because its time for Summer Lunches. This summer we decided that all of us need more brunch in our lives so we are heading to Waffle House! So whether you like your hash browns scattered, smothered, or even covered, meet at the church at 12:00 and we will all head over to the palace of breakfast foods and all things good. Bring $$$$ for food.
